After you've downloaded the powercursor engine, it is easiest to Quick Start using our new_project.fla template document (included in the download). On this page we explain how you can add Powercursor functionality to your existing Flash project.

Add Powercursor to your existing Flash project

After you've downloaded the powercursor engine, you can add powercursor functionality to your existing Flash project in four simple steps:

1. Copy the files powercursor.swf and new_project.fla into your project directory.
2. Open your existing project in Flash.
3. Via File > Import > Open External Library (or CTRL SHIFT 'O') open the library of new_project.fla.
4. From this external library, drag the objects PC_Engine > PC_Engine and PC_Cursors > PC_ArrowCursor into the root of your existing project (these two objects provide you with the basic powercursor functionality).
5. Add other objects (hills, holes, walls, etc.) and behaviors (wallmaker, buttonmaker, slickmaker, etc.) you need to create force fields, from the external library to your project.

NOTE: Always distribute powercursor.swf along with your project in the same directory. This file contains the compiled engine.
